AC Schnitzer Type II 22" Alloys + Yoko tyres

Post by Raj » Mon Oct 17, 2011 11:15 pm

Well, I'm feeling a different set of wheels, so seeing if there is any interest in these to help me decide.

They are mint and the Yoko tyres have only covered about 5K miles of very easy driving to be fair.

The rims are 22" x 10.5" and suit the X5 to a tee.

From ACS (you can check out Rossiters website), these wheels are £1K each, then the tyres are £800 a set totalling about £4.8K.........

So a bargain really at £1,900

Hmmm, so tempting. However just spent a chunk on winter wheels for my X

Anybody any pics of these on a sterling grey 3.0d sport with the standard sport suspension? I
assume Raj, yours is the IS with the lowered suspension?

They're complete StopTech big brakes. 6 pot calipers up front with 4 pot rears and 380mm discs. RRS Brembo calipers are only 4 pot up front with smaller discs.

Raj, as much as I would like these wheels I don't think it going to happen :(
My X is really for the mrs and part of the reason me finding one with 19s and not 20s, was the extra rim protection offered by the bigger tyres on the 19s, running 22s with the elastics around them for just summer I reckon is going to be too much for the good lady

Good luck with the sale

Hi Raj,

I am interested in these, would these go straight on my 54 plate 3.0d sport running standard suspension?

Whats the best price you could do for cash?

Where abts are you?

John

Hi John,

I'm in Wolves. They will fit no probs at all. As for the money, it would have to be a very close to the price offer.

Oh I never did return that rear view camera....lol

PM me if you are still interested.

Thanks,

Raj

+1 for a very nice set of wheels, (although I am biased) : ) these are probably one of if not the best 22 inch wheels you can put on an X, hence why I strived for mine, and I'm glad to see there has been no negative comments on price as you sometimes get on here with wheel selling, these are well worth the money and Good luck with the sale, I'm salivating at the prospect of what will replace these, i'm thinking the only way to beat them is something custom (forged maybe) with big dishes out back, that's where I'd be going, please give me a clue so I can prepare to hide my jealousy! : )
