What is the best product for cleaning up the aluminium side steps really well? There are a few marks and also some staining from what looks like soap/detergent running off the car and drying on the aluminium. Advice appreciated!!

Someone previously suggested vaseline left overnight. Lots of posts about it being an old classic car detailing method.

I used Autosol and a toothbrush. Worked a treat!!!
