Been reading up on spiggot rings, offsets & the like & think i now have it sussed out, but i would just like confirmation on the following info:
X5 E53 = PCD 5x120, centre bore 72.5mm and M14x1.5 bolt thread. ET 40-45
X5 E70 = PCD 5x120, centre bore 74.0mm and M14x1.25 bolt thread. ET 37-53
X6 E71 = PCD 5x120, centre bore FRONT 74.0mm, centre bore REAR 72.5mm and M14x1.5 bolt thread.
I have E53 X5, 19" Alloys (style 132) looking to fit E71 X6 20" (style 214)
I am sorry to ask as it has been done to death but i would like to confirm before i part with my hard earned.
Cheers,
Deckie.

Re: Confirmation on alloy wheels needed please
How far beyond the wheel arch will the X6 wheels go? I know on my X6, the Summer wheels (214 on mine) are considerably wider than the 19" 268 winter set. Technically I can't go down a 6'6" resticted roas with the 214s fitted!!
Make sure you aren't heading for unplanned work such as flared arches if you don't have them.
Your figures look right. You may find more detail on Alloywheelsdirect - and if you haven't been and looked there yet, they are cheaper than OEM.

Most OE wheels specs are shown here if not already seen. In German but the drop down tabs are easy enough to use

Cheers for the reply guy's, I have done alot of research but as usual on forums there are conflicting stories, I suppose i was just looking for someone to say
"yes they fit with spigot rings only as I have done this myself"
Or
"no they wont fit as they rub the arches"
I looked at Sharpies post from earlier, but on another forum i read that arch rub is a concequence!!!

Hi deckie77, not sure if I got this right but I think I have these wheels fitted to my X5, if you look in the newbie section under newbie from Wales I have just posted some pictures up, have a look and if it is the right wheels then I can say that even with a full set of passengers there is no sign whatsoever of any wheel rub.
