This is his 4.6 front on a facelift

Image

This is the 4.8 kit - you can see that the front piece is the correct 4.8 design, but it is an add on only and not a complete bumper

I'm thinking of getting the 4.6/4.8 rear for mine, to finish off the back end (it needs something!) and I need a new mod to look forward to.

I quite like the whole 4.6 kit, arches and everything... euro 450 isn't a bad price if the quality is spot on.

The 4.6 front doesn't seem to fit too well....drooping or at least not aligned at the sides

The 4.8 however does look like a nice fit 8-)

the rear looks cool too

and its the same colour as mine 8-)
Are these cheaper than OEM?

great to get the skid pan at that price - i did mine a while back - cost me a lot mroe than that - and got caught by customs but think it transforms the front of the car. Easy to fit too - see my post at the time:-

finally an update
it looks like my guess was right.. i ordered the skid plate which is going to cost 137quid to my door. hopefully i should get them within a week or two. i ordered 2 for now to see how it goes and if anyone interested i can try to get more. if i have to ship it within UK i would add another 10 quid give or take to the original price of 137 so it would be 147 within UK. i also ordered the tyre totes for my winter/summer tyres from the dealership as well. i am planning on switching to the winter set within a few weeks

So far ROY has pics uploaded with the skid plate on his X5. I got the two i ordered and is going to my friends this weekend but not sure when they will put them on. I wish i could put one on mine but mine has the 4.6 skirts therefore can't use them.
