Day out with Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder

Hi

Just wanted to share

my folks purchased a track day for me at Kenilworth and I had the pleasure of driving the Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder as well as getting to meet the Stig (The real one I was told but I reserve judgment). Wow what a car. I floored it and with a little flutter of the old eyelashes I got an extra lap.

Trouble is now I want one

Did a Kenilworth/Prodrive day in 2004 in my then owned

car, long circuit, adverse circuit, slalom, skid pan & some road stuff too.

Good day albeit in an RX-8 & not a Lambo.

Managed to emulsify my front tyres, (had never heard them squeal around corners in damp before), & hit the ton on the back bend. Only one moment pushing a bit to hard & when armco to nearside...........Brilliant day & top instructors.

I always wonder if they set up speed traps anywhere near those places as it is hard to behave on the public roads

It's funny as they say drive safely on the way home!! I did the drive home in just under 2 hours!!

Mind you it's an excellent disguise and that wig must have been expensive......

Cheeky!! I was concentrating so hard as my eyes were watering and I could hardly see over the bonnet at 5ft 4
