I found these 2 empty connectors in my boot (one in the right side, 1 in the left) they are identical. What are they for?

Left side:

Right side (where CD changer etc sits):

I don't have DSP and BMW confirm that my car never came with DSP - are these connectors for some kind of BMW plug&play amp/sub or something similar?

Also, I have the Motorola V50 kit in the car - can any other phone or kit be attached in its place?

I found these connectors when fitting my sub and other mods and to this day still don't know what there for :oops:
Perhaps there for the nitrous bottles :D :driving:

I dont think there anything to do with dsp or the factory fitted sub!! as you say it would be interesting to find out what they are for.Perhaps something to do with the all round air susp on the 4.8's ????

I think the trailer socket lives in the floorpan & is black in colour.

Good guess sanj, they are indeed for the rear seat electric backrest adjustment. Currently doing this retrofit.
