I get intermittent issue with my satnav.
Some days i will get into the car and the tmc on the monitor is red, and if i go into the navigation option it says something about inserting the dvd.
Other times it works absolutley fine.
Anyone else have/had this problem?
Cheers

Copies are known to cause issues. Try the oem for a bit.

I think you can only buy the OEM DVDs from a BMW Dealer. They're around the £175 to £200 mark.
Check whether there are any issues with Classic FM in your area as they carry the TMC data. No Classic FM means no TMC. I had issues a few years back when there was some engineering work underway and the local tranmitter was on low power. The car kept losing the signal and the TMC flag went red.
