Leather retrim costs.

Post by kevshepherd » Wed Jun 22, 2011 10:08 pm

Hi Guys,
My '05 plate 3.0D Sport is starting to show signs of its age inside after 80k miles. Luckily outside is still mint :)

I changed the steering wheel and armrest for brand new (M-Sport Wheels), but the seats look really shiney now, and the drivers side back lumber is quite worn.

Obviously the top choice would be Posh Leathers as chosen by Raj (are you still alive/at liberty mate) - but they are very very pricey.

Ok, £1600 for a full retrim may make the car like new - but I'm sure there must be some competition out there. Seats only would be £1200 and fronts only at £700. Now I'm SURE thats not what Raj paid, but of course his advertising got me to make the call :P

From someone like A-Trim/B-Trim (if they're still going) What could I pay for just the seats in standard Nappa leather?

Thanks for any info lads.

Kev.

Hi Kev.

Am still alive lol, just been very very busy at work and rebuilding a larger garage...he he.

I didn't pay the sort of costs that Chris has put forward and in all honesty I wouldn't. What I paid is reasonable for the retrim.

Pm me the realistic budget you have and let me have a little ring round some peeps I know.
