Brake Lining Warning

Hi All,

I have replaced the discs and pads on my car.

Does anyone know how to reset the warning beep - Check Brake Linings when you turn off the car??

Driving me crazy!!

Have you fitted a new wear sensor? If you don't, you can't clear the warning. The sensors are single use.

And if you only changed front or back, the sensor fir the unchanged end may be sending the error.

Sensor should be changed after, regardless.

I had my rear brake pads replaced with sensors and the warning would not come off. It transpired it was the the fronts as well that needed replacing. They looked ok from what you could see on the front of the front pad but the rear pads on front were low.

If your sure you've replaced the sensors and they're not damaged and all okay this is how you reset them
