Hi all,

I've just picked up a new daily driver to replace my V8 Grand Cherokee in the form of a 2001 4.4i Sport. Initial thoughts are, why didnt I buy an X5 sooner. Its fully loaded and I paid a bargain price for it...
I've just upgraded the Nav maps and software version to the latest and also treated it to a full Inspection 2 as it had been a negelected "kiddy charriot" somewhat.
Its cleaned up a treat and on there way are a set of 20" 168 style rims complete with new tyres. Also bought new inner rear lamps as the existing ones look like someone has cleaned them with sand paper.

The only thing left to put on it is my private plate.

So why didn't you buy an X5 sooner then??

And yes, a personal plate does complete the picture - although some see it as a different picture than we might, but then they're only jealous. Got personal plates on all ours - and a couple of spares. It's OK as long as you stick with what you've got. X5 xxx looks silly on an X1 Saw one the other day
