Will I need PAL or NTSC?

And that won't change if I get myself a digital TV tuner? Just seems weird as only the US use NTSC.

I think NTSC was chosen as the parts used OEM are American and the US is a major market for the E53 as it's built there. Actually NTSC is used a lot more widely than people think.

Hi ive just fitted my rerverse cam works great when the keys are in but when the engine is running it flashers back and forth from nav screen to camara please help arrrrh

What lead did you use to connect into your TV module to get an AV input/output?

When ur watching a DVD and put it into reverse does the rear view camera override the DVD picture on all the screens?

Would I use the adaptor to put 2 video inputs into 1?

to put left and right DVD audio output into 1 input?

Hi all, I am 2/3's through this, I have all the wiring into the back of the car and I'm ready to install the camera.

My Q: Do these 2 parts come apart easily? Is there any tips so I don't go caveman and try and wrench them apart?

It's all clipped together, get a few small flat-head screwdrivers and some patience...

hi guys,

I want to put in reverse camera on my 2005 3.0d X5 Sports as well.
It comes with SatNav upfront

Having gone via all these posts, it looks like some of the reverse cameras available has changed over time

There seems to be a few on ebay and i dont know which to get.

Please links to decent ones will be good
