Hi,
I'm a newbie to the forum and I am hoping to learn from the wealth of knowledge on here on the E53 X5 4.8is, I am at present selling the wifes 3 series convertible to get one of these and soon after LPG it, has anyone on here had any experience with the real world economy this brings in all different styles of driving (Town, Motorway, mixed etc).
Keen to learn from anyone's experience on here.
I was thinking of buying one already converted but I think I would prefer to buy a genuine example, drive it around for a couple of months to ensure everything is as sweet as it should be and then go in all guns blazing for the LPG conversion.

And then do a search for anything LPG and 4.8is - LOADS on here. There are suggestions of what is the best conversion to go for and what people think of the 4.8 itself, with gotcha's and common faults to look out for.
Navigate to the Forum and then the Buyers Guide, done by one of our mods - should help increase your knowledge.
Great cars and most owners don't care about the mileage they do because of the grin factor the V8 gives them!

Just go for it bro as there is the place Gie used for his tourer or there is a place up this way (AutoTech) I was gonna use.

That is 100% the plan but I wanted to get some 1st hand feedback of people around what kind of experience they have had post conversion in terms of drive, cost savings/economy etc.
I have done a search but can't find anything and in terms of responses everyone seems to be shy!
