I just wanted more torque and a smoother gear change and not to aggresiv, so I decided to go for optimun settings (dynamic). Jason did advise me I should at least save between 1-2mpg which is ok by me as it's a petrol engine. the throttle responce is unreal.

I think the only way we will save mpg is if the price of petrol came down

I will update.

Thanks
X5-MK going on the subject of gear changes has it improved down changes.

Thanks
The gear change has drastically improved in all areas. Give Jason a call and he'll give you a more detailed summary if your interested.

I spoke to Jason today & he spent a while on the phone chatting to me about it which was great, but he also said I should ask you as you have had it done to get your opinon, the only reason is that i have had my g/box rebuild and my harsh down change has improved & is less frequent, but I wanted to know if the re-map would improve it further?

Thanks in advance

Ok, before the remap I had the same annoying problem as you, I felt I had to rev a bit more to get it to change gear (If you know what I mean) and when the changed down occured the car would ever so slighty jump around if that's the right word.
But, now it's a different beast. As mentioned before the gear change is soooooooooooo smooth inc. down change. You'll not regret it

Do you have a 4.6? Don't worry, these gearboxes can handle it, Unless you drive like bullethead

Hope this helps you mate

Cheers

Definetly, 100%. You'll not regret it.

Only disapointment is that I wish I done it sooner.

I went for best of both, did not want it too aggressive. Mainly wanted more Torque through the gear change. And baby........do I have it

You can have what ever settings you want, just give Jason your requirements and he'll sort you out.
