well 4.2.1 is about 10 versions ahead of 2.21 so i would guess at no, haha. But it's only a cable so i don't see why not.

Done some searching and the reason it won't work is due to been a fake copy off eBay the proper apple ones have a chip in em so I'm not happy ::((

i think 'fake copy' is a bit strong

I don't think they would have sold them as genuine Apple products (but if they did I take it back

) and they probably do work on the ipods that have 2.21 or less firmware. i would imagine it might still work with jailbroken phone too.

Well it only works for a sec then goes off think I'll just get a proper apple one not sure how to get this one working properly ?
