I've got one solution...you can swap your fancy schmancy digital tuner for my crappy analogue one...problem solved lol

Other than that I've no idea sorry

I'll see if I can find what the options are on ours tomorrow. The instructions are somewhere in the Navigation section of the manual I think.

We certainly don't have the text showing all the time.

Top right hand corner of the screen below the eject button is the telephone receiver button below that
is the changing tape track button and clock symbol , whilst watching tv press the clock symbol , problem solved.
