Those Costco alloy jacks are 2 ton rated if memory serves , but the lowline steel one they do is 3 tons so a safer bet lifting an x6 or x5 . Got one of each and boy is the steel one heavy but does the job and didn't break the plastic jacking pads.

Yes - fits fine, and 2 ton is fine for a one wheel lift of an X5 (i.e. I am not lifting the entire car using a jack, only a corner :).
