Re: Ouch again...
Ouch is right - thats a hell of a mark up even with offering a warranty! Bloody car dealers......
02 X5 3.0d SE - Mods: Double exhaust, Angel eyes, orange bits removed! M-Sport steering wheel, e70 X5 Alloys, Aftermarket Sat/Nav DVD with rear screen, Webasto T91 Telestart, skid pan.

Good grief! I can think that they're either incredibly optimistic, bl@@dy greedy, or starting high knowing they'll have to come down. Even so that's one heck of a markup in my book. I was offered £14k on my 2005 3.0d with 46k on it. I wonder what they would have tried to sell it at - £19,995?
Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
Re: Ouch again...
No disrespect, but surely the car was significantly undersold @ £7k? When new that was the top of the range X5 and in sought after (expensive) Estoril.
If the dealer gets 10k, that's a £3k (43% margin)! IOW - they got a bargain.
