Old site was hosted & supposedly administrated by a former site owner who simply allowed the domain renewal to expire.

The former site owner didn't own an X Series car, showed little interest in daily running of the site & was IMO out of touch.

The former site owner never disclosed other factors re allowing domain expiry & it is impossible to draw other conclusions.

With the old site down some sought refuge on xoutpost & bmwland....We remain very grateful to those sites.

A member on another forum bought the old domain & attempted to offer it to us but myself & pvr decided to start afresh.

Myself & pvr, (with great assistance of sp3ctre who runs other sites), then worked set up this site.

The former owner of the old site failed to provide us with any old data from the old site.

Whilst old data has not been retrieved many old names,(& plenty of new ones), have registered here.

We are keen to point out that this site has no ownership association with the old one.

We now enjoy running a site where we can make our own decisions without being compromised.

We have moved on, ( keen not to discuss history further)..........This site is both the present & the future for owners of all X series BMW cars in the UK, ( & some visiting members from further afield).

Welcome aboard :)
