Did the deal on new car today. I have been umming and arring about getting rid of the car as its approaching the mileage upon which i have no doubt a big bill is looming!! ie gearbox or turbo or more injectors!! its done 92000 miles. This hasnt been the most reliable car, what with a coolant leak, costing new. water pump, which didnt solve issue, later found to be seal on water jacket, the rear bushes, 2 injectors, etc going, but ive loved it all the same and always think how nice a place they are to sit inside!! im sticking with bmw, but going for a 525d m sport on an 07 plate. from bmw used approved with years warranty so should be years trouble worry free motoring!! its high spec one with the media pack, active cruise control, voice control, etc. cant wait to get it delivered now!!!

Lovely colour combo as well plus a nice manual...wish they did v8 x5s with a manual,its so boring with an auto.

thanks lee, yes got the "i cant wait" bug now!! yep agreed i actually like the interior colour, not everyones taste but looks good against exterior colour i think!! bit bored of black on black at mo!! lol! agreed, v8 manuals, wooo now ur talking. This one is the facelift version which also has the more powerful engine, its the same engine as 530d ie 3.0 litre, its just detuned, so remap in order!! should go great with the manual box!!
