MY PDC Is playing up...suggestions please?

I have the bmw scaner 1.4.0 and it wouldn't recognize the faulty pdc on several attempts but then come up with the front right center a few times so changed that.But now it won't recognize any faults with the pdc's
It has been great with other scans and very helpfull when diagnosing problems but not so accurate with the pdc's i'm afraid

I bet that cost a few bob

maybe the PDC issue is so prevalent that BMW have banned non dealer scanning?
