WANTED Renault Clio Williams III
Re: WANTED Renault Clio Williams III
have you tried the clio williams forums and pistonheads? also a lot a willies seem to hang out on the clio renaultsport forums (no pun intended) though I wouldnt expect much change from 3k (maybe more) if your after a minter (without rear arch rot).

Thanks Macca
I'm keeping an eye on most of these sites.
Most seem to envolved a few hours of travel, which i'm preparing myself for!

Re: WANTED Renault Clio Williams III
I'm not widely knowedgable with french cars but would comment that if brisk driving fix & Clio fixes are priorities rather than Williams name then perhaps it might also be worth considering a tidy 172 Cup.

Re: WANTED Renault Clio Williams III
Hi AW8,
I did look at a few 172 before i got hooked on the 1.5dci as a cheap run around(68mpg and £30 tax)
I really cant see anything pass a Willys, always loved the wide arch and bonnet grove.
Plus i still have the old E36 Evo for the dry days, the Williams is just to fill that little gap i have in the garage...well my grans garage

I'll ask around (working with the Performance French car mag at the moment) for you but you're looking in the right places already. If you haven't found one in a month or so give me a shout and we'll run a "wanted" ad of some sort in the mag and online.
