Hello all Members and owners on the X drivers forum.

Just taken ownership of an E53 4.8is exclusive model on an 05 reg. Having owned all kinds of Bmw's over the last 15 years this feels like a real hot rod of a machine. Having owned the e39 m5 and the Legend Alpina B10's i hope the x5 stands up to these two

By god its a thirsty Monster.

Any way thats it for now, be good to discuss issues i will have with the car during my ownership. Hope not to many.

I do have one already so i'm off to the general section to ask for advice.

Hello & welcome Fred & great choice of motor.

I must admit i get a little frustrated with fuel costs,but with your track record with cars cant see it being a problem.

Hope it treats you well & you have lots of fun in it.

I do like a V8 it seems Lee lol. I wouldn't have it any other way

Albeit crazy fuel costs and consumption V8's give but they do make up for it with performance.
