Problem sorted! :D
I bought the ABS/speed sensor from GSF today for £66inc VAT, got home swapped it over, deleted the fault code & all fixed! 8-)
CURRENT CARS - E53 X5 3.0d & E30 325I CONVERTIBLE

Nice one :thumbsup: did it come straight out in one piece? mine did but they can be a pig if they break up.

I got my wheel speed sensor also known as pulse generator from dealers Cotswold Gloucester)for £51.50 delivered.

DONT but the ones of ebay to save a few quid they don't fit....i did and ended up having to get oem from dealers after all :oops:

Yes there is a sensor on each corner, but they dont all do the same thing. Like the nearside rear does the speedo etc :thumbsup:

Nope it was a right pain! Broke apart & I ended up drilling a small hole into the old sensor, putting in a long screw and then pulling it out! :lol:

Yep one each corner :thumbsup: .....i wasn't aware that they did different things mind :thumbsup: ......mine was the nearside left but my speedo wasn't affected i just kept getting the 4X4 inactive message and abs lights etc.
