Another trip
I took the grandson to Birmingham to collect a BMW F31 he had bought, we had a test drive and everything seemed fine. He suggested I go back home as it would take some time to do paperwork plus tax and insurance. So off I went, however as I near the Oxford exit the phone rings and I’m informed the car has expired blowing great clouds of smoke out the exhaust. The garage is on the way to recover it (only 2 miles from garage). So, back to Birmingham to pick up the grandson. To be fair to the garage they have refunded the money without any hassle. As they should. ended up doing 430 miles and must admit that I took the piss a bit and offered to take him to see his next modern car in my 24 yo heap.

Where did they get it from? WBAC? Frustrating when that happens, and good on the dealership to refund (not that morally they had any choice!).
Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
