04 BMW X3 e83 225k 2.5M54 engine.
I last replaced the fuel pump maybe 7 years ago...strong model I think.
Current concern:
Only after a complete fuel tank fill-up do I get a slight stall, hick up or hesitation (less than 3 seconds) when I pull away from the fuel station going up a slight incline.

Fuel pump issue?
Could be the return valve on the injection rail side allowing fuel to flow back when it shouldn’t. Not sure how you test for that though.
Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
