Heated seats & central locking no longer working

Following my battery going flat my heated front seats no longer work nor does the central locking off the key fob.

I have replaced the battery but the heated front seats light up for a second then switch off. The back ones work fine. I have checked the fuses but they are fine.

Central locking only works off the key turn. I have two fobs one OEM and another a replacement one I had coded to the car earlier this year. I replaced the battery in the replacement fob just in case it was due to that but it made no difference. I also tired to resync them to the car but that hasn't worked either.

Is there a module that connects both functions that has gone or just bad luck they both have stopped working?

The only ‘connection’ will be the new car battery. The simplest ‘fix’ would be to disconnect it again for 30 minutes and then try again. This was the standard thing to try with that model back in the day. If your new battery is not itself fully charged then that can also cause all sorts of oddities.
