Pixel repairs

Good morning
My dash literally has no pixels left on the display.
Not only annoying but looks awful too.
What’s the Ed easiest way to fix??
Are the pixel screens plug in or do they need to be soldered?? Or can I get a replacement dash but then my mileage will be off.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

There’s a company called Cartronics (may well be others) who can fix them. You can change the dash and then have the unit programmed to the car and the mileage corrected. There’s a tell-tale pixel that shows up if the mileage in the cluster computer differs from that held elsewhere on board, so it can be corrected using one of the BMW software packages (INPA / ISTA etc).
