Post by ssrfr03 » Fri Jul 11, 2025 2:48 pm

Hi folks
Once again my key fobs have dropped out and won’t lock or unlocked car so what I would like to know is with the key fob when you lock car and press lock again with in so many seconds you disarm internal sensors how do you do this when locking with the key ?? Thanks

Reading the Owners Manual makes no mention of being able to do this other than with the lock button on the remote key.

What’s causing the key fobs to drop? Charging issue? You can charge key fobs with one of those inductive charging pads or an electric toothbrush base (Braun / Oral B type) that also use inductive charging.

I use one of them for the E46 key….available from Amazon. Search for Apple iWatch charger. About £6.00 (Amazon won’t let me copy any item link today).
:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
