Check the ashtray other than that you will need to bust them off unless you know the number is written in the service book to get another key.

Sorry to read that you have been poorly  Glad you’re OK again though. :)

BMW have a ‘Master’ set and will be able to tell you the number- and order one. But you need to get the car there first. Mine has always been in the cubby beneath the boot floor, right at the back, but may have rolled out?

Various folks have either put it in the ashtray, centre console cubby, glovebox or door pocket. I even found it in a rear seat pocket though no one admits to putting it there!
:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

A neighbour with a 330i had his Locking Wheel Nut Key go missing after a Tyre change, as it was weeks before he needed it and of course the Tyre Place put it back ? It was lost.
Vines in Crawley just needed his Vin and ordered him a new one not cheap but cheaper than brutalising the existing one and risking alloys being damaged

A lot of garages have sockets to remove them.
I get 4 new bolts if i get a car with them on and get rid of the locking they are a royal pain.

If its the oem BMW ones you can ring your local dealer parts dept and supply VIN etc and they can get you a new one, did it a few years ago, it only took two days for a new one to arrive.
