I hadn't even got home when they 'phoned to say the car was ready to collect and telling me it needs the tyres replaced because they're not approved.
Half an hour after that, another call to say that both headlamp level sensors need to be replaced (haven't looked at them myself, so not sure yet) and a steering rack end needs to be replaced (both were new before the MOT at the beginning of November!).
I really have no faith in all this "value added" malarky.

I can't help thinking that even if the steering wheel airbag is OK, it won't be long before there is a recall on the passenger side one - and that's going to mean having the dashboard out.


Sodding airbags are more trouble than they're worth.
