Seat bolster refurb..

I like your choice of tyres. I have them fitted on the front of the x5 they didn’t do 315s for the back so I have Goodyear fitted there. I need to replace the Goodyears having done 30k and have 2mm left. The accelera fronts have 4mm left on them. BTW I had a productive day in the sun, replaced the front drop links and the leaking air bag which was a spare I had so hopefully the x will be sitting square in the morning. On the down side when I’d finished I nipped up to Tesco and forgot to fold the mirrors, came out to find the passenger mirror fully forward. Can’t get it to work properly now just clicks on the gear teeth, really pissed off only just fixed it a few months ago with new gears. But I must look on the bright side in that when I did fix it I left out that piece of soft spongy stuff and ever since there has been a fair increase of wind noise from that area so I’ll be able to put that right. There was me thinking I was all sorted. MOT due next month.

Well well. I had the four tyres fitted today. Total was £470. I cannot believe how it’s changed how the car drives. The steering is lighter, it drives in a straight line (used to pull to the left) , runs quieter and actually feels like it’s rolling whereas it felt like it was sort of dragging or holding back before. Weird.
And the Disco 4 passed the mot although it had to have new running boards as they were rotten..
