As far as I know, ‘sold as seen’ is no longer legal in the UK if the Seller is a motor trader, and this smacks of being a motor trader type ad.

I went to view something a few weeks ago. The dealer had said it was a trade sale, though the price suggested otherwise. It had a cracked windscreen, literally top to bottom, and to my surprise upon arrival, no test drives. I had combined the bulk of the drive with another purpose but still probably wasted a four hours round trip.
