Ouch! I hope everyone got out OK. Battery is in the transmission tunnel on the i8. I went to a launch day for them a few years back and getting in and out was hilarious if you’re 6ft plus like me. Guests were all laughing at ourselves as we struggled to exit somewhat ungracefully. Very high sills around the seats and low to the ground.
:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

As long as you have a sense of humour, and I would suggest, somewhere private to practice getting in and out with style and panache, you’ll be fine. :D

Talking of cars with big sills and awkward access, i have a claim to fame. Once upon i time i worked at Brooklands in Weybridge. Our office was directly opposite aJaguar dealership. Anyway one day back whenever, an XJ220 appeared on their forecourt so being a petrol head (diesel these days) with others i went to have a look. The car is enormous
and the sills from memory were like no other car I've seen, maybe 10-12" wide.

I was invited and got in it, with difficulty, i was subsequently told by a salesman i knew, the recipient was no less than Elton John. Apparently, he never drove it, presumably because he was too small to bridge the sills :D
