Help!! My x6 35d engine turns off while running

Hi guys, this is my first post and it's about a problem that's driven me crazy, I have an x6 35d with 215,000 km, everything was going great, until one day for no reason it stopped on the road, no cell, I removed the key, put it back in and it started, it was on the road for 200 km without turning off and now it has done it again, it turns off every few meters, I have to remove the key and it starts again, it walks a few meters it jerks and turns off, I have passed bimmerlink and these codes come up, I have checked the fuel tank pump, I have also changed the map sensor and now it throws these faults


47C7 injector cylinder 6 control
47b7 injector cylinder 5 control
47A7 injector cylinder 4 activation
4797 injector cilinder 3 control
4787 injector cylinder 2 control
4767 injector cilinder 1 control

Has anyone had the same thing happen to them?

Googling your issue, it seems injector #5 is often the culprit due to water ingress?

Hi friend, it seems so, I wanted to know if it had happened to any colleague and if he knew what repair he carried out.

Google reading suggests water ingress on injector #5 from the drip tray above it. So your situation is not an isolated incident. As to the cure, aside from probably needing to replace that injector,, some degree of DIY water diversion would seem necessary.

I have the same vehicle of 2009 vintage, but thankfully i have no issues such as you describe.

Hello friends, I did the transparent silicone tube test on the return of the 6 injectors, number 5 did not return diesel, I have replaced injector number 5 and the car continues to stop, I am desperate... tomorrow I will do the same test on the returns with the new injector, I have tested the resistance in ohms of injector 5 and it gives 182 ohms, something is deactivating my injector 5, I have realized that for the engine to fail it has to be at working temperature, I will keep you informed.

Had this happen got the T shirt it will be an injector, they are fired by piezo.....it seems like #4 as youve an error 'Activation'

Someone had exactly the same issue a few weeks ago. Water ingress was the problem with corrosion and short circuits as a result. Error codes exactly match what you are seeing.
