I wonder if these are any good, no programming required supposedly. I know nothing of the technology at work and whether LED self level like HIDs? Lots of work to fit them as well, but they do appeal. The seller states there is no AFS function?
I dont know how many E71 owners frequent here, a group buy might be cost effective?

There was an official LED upgrade kit offered by BMW. £6k and a lot of wiring work and coding. These don’t look to have a number of requirements met - no sign of E Approval only DOT. May well be an MOT fail in the making.
Can’t see any sign of a laser warning label, nor are they marked with anything other than LED.
This is what proper laser lights look like - and the laser only comes on above 35mph when high beam is also on. Provide a ‘spot beam’ within high beam.
They are without doubt the best lights I have ever used. High beam lights 1/2 mile of road ahead. Sadly BMW have now discontinued them as they have started using Megapixel LED units.

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
