Hello and :hi:

I’m sure someone will be along to help.

What ‘mods’ are you wanting to do?

Hi!

I'm trying to swap my oem halogen headlights for oem xenon but they aren't powering on. Wondering if anyone else has down this same mod and if any additional wiring involved?

Seen your other thread. Have you got ballasts installed?

Have you got all of the parts listed here: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showpa ... Id=63_0833

Wiring diagram as best as I can find…..these are for Bi-Xenon lamps….

These don’t have connections 4, 5, 6, 7.

Are you using genuine OEM BMW replacement headlights or copy parts? The check is that genuine lamp units have a code on them to say they are approved for HID (Xenon) bulbs. Converting without using correct parts is now an MOT failure, and has been for a couple of years in response to people converting incorrectly and causing dazzle as the mirrors or projectors were never designed for HID.

The OEM lamp option also came with high pressure washers in the bumper and automatic self-levelling.
