I the interest of continuity.........
The job was done 3 weeks ago now.
As well as coding, the mod required a cable to be run from the SZL module to the FRM, and another from the FRM to the FEM. Not really a big job, the whole lot was done in half a day.
Coding the transmission as "Sport Automatic" rather than just plain automatic (necessary for the paddles to work) has changed the automatic shift points slightly, even in comfort mode.
Curiously, the fuel consumption seems to have improved slightly. It could be a fluke, but it's had 2 re-fills now since the mod was done.
