Hi guys, wanted to know is there a way of removing a plug which essentially turns the car in to rear wheel drive? It's to isolate a vibration under acceleration at speeds of over 40mph.
If there is can you give me location please?

Transfer case question?
Transfer case question?
Front fuse board (above the glove box roof), Fuse 32 (5A) shows as the ‘Transfer Case’. I seem to remember kkx5 saying back in the day that pulling the transfer case fuse in the E53 basically made it RWD. Might work the same way in the F15?
The only ‘plug’ is on the unit itself and that may be hidden behind a structural cross-member underneath.

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
Transfer case question?
I was reading that the fuse does not always turn it into RWD. I will try the fuse first and if not then will get the actual plug. To isolate if it's anything to do with transfer case or drive shaft on front axle. Thanks X5 sport. Very helpful
Transfer case question?
So had the car checked it me the final drive output shaft has play, mainly the right side. Would this cause vibration at load on motorway speeds? 50mph plus
