DVLA threw mine up straightaway. I do hope it's really necessary

Mine just comes back with this doesn’t say what it’s for yet

This vehicle has an outstanding recall.

Just got on to the BMW site, and putting the V.I.N in (it doesn't recognise my reg.) it says "There are no open safety related recalls or technical enhancements on this vehicle".

Got the X6 back. No rattles from the refitted dash. Talking to the team at the dealership, this is still part of the huge, global Takata recall. Some cars have had to be done twice (including our E46). Job actually took a full day and the car was ready just before going home time so there was no way I could get there that fast.

I said the same thing. It was only because I was at the Dealer that I knew. Given it was in the press in May, I would have expected at least something from BMW about it long before now.

It may be my age, i become more underwhelmed by things BMW a little bit each day. Still somewhat better though than VW liason and customer service from what i read.

Standards generally are pi$$ poor nowadays 🙄
