X5 speakers blown

Post by lou9890 » Mon Mar 21, 2011 8:42 pm

It appears that have blown the front speakers which are situated on the Dash which i think are the tweeters. when i turn it up all i get is buzzing. Can anyone recomend anywhere where i could get theses replaced and not get ripped off, possibly in the North of london.
Might try and get all the speakers upgraded if i can find somewhere decent.

Thanks

Are you certain the speakers are actually blown and tere isn't a wiring problem? About 6 months after having the IceLink plus system fitted in mine I began to get severe distortion on one door only. I thought it was duff speakes but it turned out to be a loose pin in the amp plug in the boot. Once it was properly latched in the problem went away and has never returned.
:ant: Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.
