Hi, All
Having had a look around this old inter-web I see that there are conflicting sizes given for the sizes of the disc brake diameters for my motor.
Can anyone please advise me on the "true sizes" of the Brake Disc Specifications for my E53 4.6iS, and can anyone give me some upgrade recommendations what to replace the existing ones with?
I'd like to know without me having to take the disc's off the car and measuring them?
All help and advise is greatly appreciated

Many thanks
Rich

The multitude of sizes is down to different engines and variants.
OEM 4.6IS Front disc is 356mm x 36mm
OEM 4.6is Rear disc is 324mm x 20mm
RealOEM will give you the correct part numbers to search for (use the last 7 of your VIN).
The only ‘kit’ anyone has mentioned were made by Brembo. I think Raj fitted a kit back in the early 2010s. What is available these days may be more limited given the E53 4.6 went out of production 20 years ago now. Original discs were either Pagid or Textar from memory. Callipers were ATE I think.

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

I was looking at putting brembo on my 4.4 but in the end I went for drilled and grooved rotors with some standard pads (can't remember the make but quality) and now it pulls up much better than it did before.
I must admit tho it would look cool with massive calipers on show behind the style 87's..
