First I’ve heard of it. Haven’t been for years. The last time we went we’d taken delivery of the E46 Convertible a week earlier, drove up and got put in the wrong car park line. Ended up parked with loads of show cars in front of the Museum. It was the first 330Cd MSport convertible anyone had seen. We didn’t win any awards as the car wasn’t clean!! It was a bit of fun though, and a beautiful day, bathed in sunshine.
Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

Me neither. I started taking my cars to shows in the early '80s. I did Motor 100 at Silverstone, The Bromley Pageant, Yeovil Festival (several times), and plenty of smaller ones.
I started with my Avenger Tiger. I didn't keep the Sunbeam Lotus long enough to get it to a show. Then I moved-on to a few Fords before getting my E30 in '03. I took that and the E46 that followed it to several meets, but around 10 years ago I started to get annoyed by the ever-increasing number of idiots bouncing the revs off the limiter, doing doughnuts (usually in inappropriate places), and trying to emulate Ken Block on public roads when leaving the venue.
The final straw was a particularly odious oik using the camping area as a slalom course, late at night, while all his mates were egging him on.
