Instrument cluster dead

Started the car this morning and noted that nothing works on the instrument cluster. No warning lights, rev counter, speedo. Have checked all fuses and all fine. Anyone came across this before. Its an lci 40d.

Check fuse 134 in the rear. 5A. It’s the only fuse that powers the Kombi cluster module.

There’s only two screws at the top holding it in place. See if a plug has fallen out - it shouldn’t be possible, but…..and it’s single computer module. Only 5 wires to it power (Red Pin 9), K can bus L (Pin 7, Green), K Can bus H (Pin 6, Orange with Green tracer), Ground (Pin 18, Brown with Black tracer).

Is the module under the rear fuse box?

Oddly I have noticed that although the cluster is dead, the small lcd screen in the centre appears to be permanently illuminated, but no info shown, even when car has been left for hours.

The cluster is the module. Sounds like it’s getting power if the screen is lit.

Try taking the battery off for 1/2 hour. It might reset.
