Front disc size

Post by andy_b » Wed Nov 30, 2022 12:54 pm

Hi all,

Looking to change front discs and pads on F15 X5.

Realoem lists a 332mm and a 348mm disc on my VIN and refers to the 348 as part of the M performance power kit.

As I have the M sport package, will I have the 348mm discs?

Is the 332mm for China only or am I getting that round my neck?

Thanks

M performance likely to have been a very expensive option you don't have, only sure way is to measure a disc

Which engine version? the 30d has smaller 332mm as standard with the 40d having 348mm fitted as standard. For the 30d it’s only the M Performance kit as you say that comes with 348x30mm and that kit was expensive (still is!) at build. If you use a VIN Decoder it should tell you if anything like that was in the car when built.

Measurement is the simplest course of action :)
