Anyone taken up a claim offer from the TV wolves?
Just out of curiosity I looked at deiselgate.com earlier but the T&Cs are tedious.

Deiselgate.
I’ve bitten the sale with one of my previous cars, a Škoda Superb from 2015. I’m pretty sure nothing will come of it as it’s the wrong engine, and I said so on the form,, but they’ve added me to their list. That car had dreadful economy and an even worse AdBlue habit (>1 litre/1,000 miles) compared to an identical sized and powered BMW. The model we had came out just as Dieselgate hit the press and I remember asking the sales folks about exactly that. They were the ones who said we had the newer, cleaner, more efficient engine. I guess I’ll find out who was telling the truth if the case ever gets settled.
The 2-series we had on a 4-year PCP is also in the date range though again I doubt BMW got that one wrong given it was a 2018 with an updated engine and turbocharging system (changed to dual-turbo from a single twin-scroll system). It used 15 litres of AdBlue in 46,000 miles.
I certainly don’t expect to see loads-a-money from it.

Never anthropomorphise computers. They hate that.

So the membership here is either rich or laid back enough not to worry?
