This is a jelly like lump, colourful perhaps but very annoying. Given I've only ever used BMW washer fluid I'm somewhat unimpressed, but it is apparently a quite frequent 'repair' at the dealership. As an owner I could have done no more imo. I won't bother complaining to BMW GB, I think I know the response.

I had a similar problem with my E46. I can't remember which brand of screenwash I was using at the time. Someone recommended Renault's aftermarket brand "Motrio". I was sceptical, but I tried it and have never had any problems since in any of our cars. IIRC, there are 2 versions - minus 10deg and minus 20deg. I use the minus 20, and in the warmer months dilute it with DI water.
