Not our normal fare I know, but following the desperately sad news this afternoon, we at xseries-forum extend our condolences to the Windsor Family at their time of loss.

Well said, sad news indeed.... most people in the UK have never known another British Monarch.

Never been a royalist but her personal devotion to an intimidating task was undeniable. A job very well done.

As for Charles III ?

It's a very well-worn phrase, but I believe it truly is "the end of an era". It will be interesting to see where the Royal Family goes from here.

Sad day for this country.
Don't think the monarchy will ever be the same again.
I personally don't have the same respect for Charles William ??? maybe but not sure i will see him as king but hope i live long enough too.
