Everyone's favourite auction website???

I had the tyres removed from my Style 304 wheels this morning.

I took photos of said wheels.

I went on the aforementioned website, typed-out a detailed description and uploaded the photos.

When I hit the button to start the auction, the site decided it wants direct access to my bank account.

There is no

way I'm giving access to my account(s) to anyone.

Not even Wor Lass has ever asked for access to my hard-earned.

TBF I had been warned about this, but as I had sold there in the dim-and-distant-past I thought I might have got away with it.

Anyone got any bright ideas what other websites I might have a remote chance of selling the wheels, please? I did think about Freecycle, and it might yet come to that, but a few quid to recoup some of my out-lay on the Borbets would be a bonus.

I'm not on Facebook, but I think step-d sells stuff there. I'll have a word.

Gumtree is a possibility, as is Pistonheads.

Posted them on Gumtree around 9 this morning, provisionally sold before 17hr00,

to a lad who is going to put them on his F30.

I use the auction site and they changed it last year i think it was (i think they sold off paypal).
I have sold a lot of my Ham radio gear and not had any problems.
In fact the money minus there fees is in my bank the next day even before i have posted the item out.
