Add emergency spare wheel.

Post by Sandy5454 » Mon Nov 16, 2020 8:14 am

I need some advice.
Anyone know if it is possible to fit an emergency spare wheel in my BMW x3 F25 2016?
My car has the can of slime and a little air pump.
I have had a good look in the boot area but it looks like the battery would have to be moved. Anyone done this? Or is their another solution?
thanks

EDITED - RealOEM says no room in the car. Spare available for Service/Dealer use only. That either means left loose or on a door-mount (if you can find such a thing). Neither being ideal.

Thanks for reply.

Left Loose- not a good idea. AS I say there is room if the battery was moved and a different sub floor but thats not a small job.

Couldn't a space saver be tied down to the luggage hooks?

I have a space saver wheel and I have it tied to the rear seats using a ratchet belt.....it works for me as I dont really ever need to lower the rear seats.
