BMX X3 2011 plate 2.0d

Post by PaulSanders » Wed May 11, 2022 5:42 pm

Hi there, the car would not start. No indication of problems or symptoms. Taken to the garage, they think that the timing belt has slipped/jumped. Any advice on repairs or any recommendations for garages local to Richmond Borough?

Same as above.
Forgot to ask you how the car was running and how this came about.

The car was running absolutely fine and has been. Drove it home from work the night before, no problems. Got in the following morning, tuned over but would not start.

Our E53 did this and it turned out to be a fuel relay on the top of the front fuse box. £10 part but £270 to find it was that :x

Can you hear the pump running when you first turn the ignition on.
